About Me

Pro Bono Baker began in January of 2005. Since that time I have lived in the neighborhoods of Hyde Park and Logan Square in Chicago. I have worked in a law firm, a bakery, a cancer research group, nonprofit development and been unemployed. I have traveled to far corners of the world and I have experienced many culinary delights. The main thread of this blog has mutated a bit over time and presently offers my general musings on food, recipes, restaurant reviews and mentions of Chicago food events.

I also write for Gapers Block in their Drive-Thru section.
